Today I introduce you to another of my favorite radio broadcasts –“ Living On The Edge” by Chip Ingram

Today’s broadcast focused on why bad things happen to Christians, and as usual Chip did an outstanding job of speaking what I have come to recognize as truth in my own life.

Many times in my life I have been treated unjustly. How do you make sense of a small infant having to struggle so hard just to survive? The affluence that is so prolific in today’s society has created an expectation that we deserve good things just because we live, yet there are many places in the world even today where life is incredibly unfair and harsh to little ones.

Our God-given sense of justice cries out against this, and we find ourselves looking to the sky and asking, “Why” (as if God has to justify His actions and lack of actions to meet our standard).

I found myself nodding my head in agreement through most of the broadcast and I strongly recommend you take a few minutes to listen to this broadcast on line and then a few more minutes to really dwell on the impact and implications of this message. It provides an excellent background for the things I will be writing on this blog in the days and weeks to come.
